TheForkUserOh Lord we must have tried to find this place at least half a dozen times only to arrive and for it always to be closed - we thought closed down. Took a chance and made an online booking, arrived a tad early and seemed to be the usual story all closed up - until I went into the kitchen & they apologised for having the door closed at 1 minute past 8, my husband was about to give up and never return. Boy was he glad we stayed, the place was wonderful, the food magnificient and the service friendly - we will certainly be back.

TheForkUserWe ordered 3 burgers well done. One was well done, one was medium well and one was rare with a cold red mushy center.The ambiance was good and the service was ok.There wasn’t any soap or paper towels in the restroom which makes me wonder if the staff washes their hands.

TheForkUserSuper place. A proper traditional completely family-run restaurant. All of the fish is fresh and most of it local. Excellent wine too! Definitely worth a return trip.
